We are a small Fintech company specializing in regulatory technology that assists consumers and business owners, via our software platforms to identify potential overcharging, calculation errors, mis-selling, and regulatory compliance breaches by big businesses. We offer a great service, with clear information, bringing honesty to the sector. We love to help people identify compliance breaches, overcharging, and misselling by their financial providers.
Better still we love the idea that consumers and business owners can now use our "DIY" software platform to identify errors, miscalculations, breaches, overcharging, and claim back thousands of their own pounds, as well as appropriate compensation, keeping 100% of any payout.
EXPERIENCE
Our CEO has over 30 years in the claims industry and was previously licensed by the Ministry Of Justice (MOJ) authorized to deal with financial claims. We decided in 2018 to harness our experience & develop software, that would allow consumers to check, generate and evidence their own complaints, cutting out the use of claims companies and the huge fees they charge, by building our bespoke Overcharged Checker software platform.
Using structured digitized technology, combined with our unique purpose-built AI financial product compliance indexed database, working beneath the software platform. This allows the software to generate multiple seamless financial reports of standardized Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) formats, for clients to use in properly evidencing, complaints, and claims to their financial providers and legal agents.
Fast forward to 2022, having built & tested our OCC Beta platform, we then decided to commercialize & accommodate the expanding need for our consumer and business-related software services - The Overcharged Checker platform was launched.

Our back-office staff & legal team use their broad range of experience and qualifications that cover all financial products, from simple bank accounts to complex mortgages, pensions, and investments and use these attributes to assist in the proper and ongoing regulatory compliant construction of the live OCC platform.
Our OCC software-generated reports for Mortgages are CeMAP & CeRCH compliant, investments are CISI & CeRCH compliant and pensions are PMI & CeRCH compliant.
The OCC platform allows for the reports to generate compliant financial data points, comprehensively covering all identifiable financial compliance breaches, allowing you to fully evidence any complaint and claims.
SPECIALIST LEGAL CASES.
For more complex Financial Investments involving higher-value thresholds, where the software forensically generates identifiable reports and results in excess of £150k of remediation parameters, a panel of selected legal firm specialists is made available to OCC clients, within their account.
Such specialist firms offer full legal services, plus Litigation Funding options as well as associated (After The Event - ATE ) insurance facilities.
